Geeta lives in poor circumstances and works in Star Theatrical Company as a stage artiste. Once, being late for work, she takes a lift in a car to reach her place of work... The car belongs to the rich industrialist Sundeep Anand.

When seen getting down from the car of industrialist Sundeep Anand, a rumour spreads out that Geeta is Sundeep's beloved. Sriram Chowdhury the owner of Star Theatrical Company takes advantage of the situation and immediately makes Geeta the heroine of the Company, pays her all dues and congratulates her on getting involved with a rich guy like Sundeep Anand. Sriram suggests that Geeta should persuade Sundeep Anand to become patron of Star Theatrical Company, Geeta wants to explain but Sriram refuses to listen. Sriram announces that Geeta has become the new heroine of the Company and Sundeep Anand their patron.

Ismail the shrewd tailor working for Star Theatrical Company, prepares new dresses for Geeta but sends the bill direct to Sundeep Anand for payment.

Sundeep Anand is intrigued to get the bill for some girl called Geeta ! Who could be she? Sundeep meets Geeta. Geeta mistakes Sundeep for an employee of tailor Ismail.

Sundeep keeps up the misunderstanding. The fall in love.

Sriram is pressed by Ismail and others for payment of the bills. They do not believe his story of Sundeep Anand being a patron. Sriram, angered, promises to arrange a meeting of Sundeep Anand and all his creditors...

Sriram now presses Geeta to arrange a meeting with Sundeep Anand. Geeta is in a fix. She reveals her predicament to Sundeep not knowing that the latter is the real Sundeep Anand. Sundeep suggests a novel plan. He volunteers himself to pose as Sundeep Anand and meet Sriram and party. The meeting takes place. Ismail charges that Sundeep Anand is not Sundeep Anand. Police arrests Sundeep Anand for posing as industrialist Sundeep Anand ! What happens next is something very exciting and hilarious, worth waiting for in your favourite theatre.
